Reality stars Tammy and Amy Slaton have found global fame thanks to the success of their show, 1000lb Sisters.

Naturally, many viewers can’t help but wonder how much weight the TLC stars have managed to lose ever since the cameras began to document their health journey.

The pair have been doing all it takes to drop the pounds, however, there have been some unexpected twists and turns that have affected their progress.

Here’s where they are in their weight loss journey so far…

How much weight did Tammy Slaton lose?

When the show began, Tammy weighed around 605lb (43 stone) and she had failed to lose weight by the end of the first season.

In fact, she had gained weight and reached 666lb (47 st), however doctors were still positive she could get her health in a better place after the reality star was able to admit she had a food addiction.

In November 2020, she also revealed in a YouTube video that she had contracted coronavirus and pneumonia. She can still be seen wearing oxygen tubes in her recent social media posts so we aren’t sure if these recent health scares have had any effect on her weight loss mission.

Her recent social media posts make it clear she’s managed to drop quite a few pounds. Guess we’ll have to wait until she announces the official amount.

Amy started her weight loss journey at around 406lb (29 st) but she’s been doing a lot to help shed the pounds.

After changing her diet and adding more exercise to her life, she was able to loss weight.

Then she found out she was pregnant, which was an unexpected twist.

After giving birth to her son Gage, the reality star got back on her weight loss mission and managed to get down to 270lbs (19 st).

She even revealed some comparison images on social media in April 2021 as she proudly showed off her progress from being size 5XL to size XL.

1000lb Sisters airs on TLC in the US and is available to stream on Discovery+.
