Animal Crossing: New Horizons: How to Earn Maximum Heart Crystals During the Wedding Season

The wedding season in Animal Crossing: New Horizons begins on June 1st and runs through the course of the entire month. During this season, players can craft and purchase a variety of wedding-themed items. However, you will require heart crystals to obtain them.

When the season has finally begun, Isabelle will mention the fact in her daily announcement. Following this, you will have to take a flight to Harv’s island. Here, you will meet the Alpaca characters, Reese and Cyrus. After speaking with them, Reese and Cyrus will ask you to take pictures for them in honor of their wedding anniversary.

How to maximize the heart crystals you earn this month in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

As a result, players will have to decorate Reese and Cyrus’s wedding hall in order to earn heart crystals. In order to maximize the heart crystals which you can receive, you must place a minimum of 20 of the wedding season-themed items. Once you have clicked an appropriate wedding picture for the couple, Reese will award you with 14 heart crystals every day.

While this method will work effectively for the first six days, from the seventh day onwards you will have to implement a new method if you wish to continue maximizing your heart crystal yield. Starting from the 7th day of the event, you will have to decorate the hall with items fitting the theme suggested by Reese. Once again, you will have to spam these items to ensure that you obtain maximum heart crystals.

Using this method, you will be able to earn 18 heart crystals every day until the end of the event. There are a total of 27 wedding items, of which Reese will gift you seven. The remaining 20 items can be purchased using 180 heart crystals. If you have followed these tips correctly, you should be able to unlock most of the themed items within the first ten days of the event.
