Dad shares heartbreaking last pic with son, 9, stabbed alongside mum as double killer suspect in court

A DAD has posted a heartbreaking final selfie with his son taken three days before he was knifed to death alongside his mum.

Kieran Henson praised nine-year-old Darren ‘DJ’ Henson in a touching tribute after he was discovered dead in Louth with mum Bethany Vincent, 26.

Her ex Daniel Boulton, 29, is due to appear in court this morning charged with murder.

Kieran posted the poignant selfie on Facebook, saying: “This was the last photo I took with you my boy.

“I love you so much and it breaks me to write this. You were my world and my shining star. Whenever I was down I would think of you and you would give me more strength that any man could take in.

“Justice will never be served to what happened to your beautiful self and beautiful mum.

“Just know I will honour your memory until I can’t breath any more. I love and miss you both so much. Sleep tight my boy.”

Bethany’s devastated parents are being comforted by loved ones at their homes in Chapel St Leonards.

The mum-of-two had given birth to a baby boy last year, who is now being cared for by relatives.

Her dad Darren paid tribute to her and his grandson after the horror on Monday.

He praised Kieran for being an “amazing and devoted” father to DJ as he thanked well-wishers for their messages of support.

The granddad said: “Ours and Kieran’s beautiful children were taken from us way to early.

“The only comfort we can take from this is that Bethany and DJ will be together forever.

“My amazing wife is an absolutely broken woman who has lost her babies… Our babies.

“There are no words to describe what my wife is going through and what we will go through for the rest of our lives.”

Boulton was yesterday charged with two counts of murder and wounding with intent to resist after an off-duty police officer was stabbed before he was arrested.

The 29-year-old, who also faces a burglary charge, was detained at a farm in nearby Hubbard’s Hill around 16 hours after the double killing.

Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox, Head of Crime at Lincolnshire Police, said: “This has been one of the most tragic and upsetting investigations that we have ever dealt with.

“Our thoughts continue to be with the families of Bethany and Darren as they grieve these unimaginable losses.

“Throughout the investigation we have received brilliant support. The people of Louth have shown how strong their community is, and I’d like to pay tribute to the help we’ve had from them.

“Many in the media, too, have been a fantastic support to us in sharing our messages and appeals.”
