“I Gotta Give Props to Lana” – WWE Hall of Famer Reacts to WWE Releasing Lana

While post-WrestleMania releases are an annual WWE ritual, this year’s list has genuinely shocked fans. Some of the wrestlers like Lana were absolute fan favorites, and the news has left them heartbroken. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T spoke about the issue at hand as well.

In a recent  (June 3, 2021) episode of “The Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T and co-host Brad Gilmore talked about the release of Lana. Booker said that he has to give props to Lana.

According to Booker, Lana was willing to face all the obstacles in her career head-on. He even added that she would never let the company see her break a sweat, even after her husband, Rusev, left. His words were,

I gotta give props Lana. I gotta give props to Lana because throughout all the bumps in the road. All the obstacles, so to speak Lana was willing to go round over and if she had to go through it, she would go right through it. Lana would take it right on the chin man and smile every time you know. I don’t think she would ever let the company see her sweat or anything like that. Even after Rusev left, she still seemed like that’s what she really kicked in and said, ‘I’m gonna show everybody. I’m gonna make this thing work. And Lana did a hell of a job trying to make that thing work.”

Lana worked hard for her craft

It is really disappointing to see a wrestler as dedicated as her being released. On May 24, 2021, she posted a video of her sparring with Gionna Daddio a.k.a Liv Morgan.

She encouraged all her fans to chase their dreams even if the world tells them not to. She urged them all to be laser-focused.
