Braun Strowman Teases an Update on His Future Following WWE Release

Earlier this week, WWE took the shocking decision to release former Universal Champion Braun Strowman in an announcement that shocked the wrestling world. A name that fans thought was surely safe from any sort of partition with the company was announced in the list of releases.

Strowman was one of the company’s biggest assets, quite literally, and had a good reputation at house shows. His release came untimely and was surely unprecedented, but the Superstar seems to have already set his sights on the future.

In a recent post on Twitter, ‘The Monster Amongst Men’ teased his plans for the future, assuring fans that there are plans for his career which will continue. The words are actually lyrics from the famous Lynyrd Skynyrd song ‘Free Bird’.

The last few months haven’t been that great for Braun Strowman.  in terms of wins but he did get to compete in some of the most intense matches we’ve seen this year on Raw. He recently faced Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash in a losing effort for the WWE Championship.

Strowman was known for his ability to immediately bring heat to a match. His size combined with built made his fights extremely physical and he was a powerhouse in every sense of the word. He also made leaps and bounds in his physicality by converting most of his fat into muscle and lost significant weight over the years.

Braun Strowman was WWE’s biggest powerhouse

He reached his peak last year at WrestleMania when he humbled Goldberg to win the WWE Universal Championship. He then went on a dominant run before losing the title to The Fiend at Backlash and failed to regain it due to the return of Roman Reigns.

‘The Monster Among Men’ also had a singles match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania which was inside a Steel Cage. He managed to pick up the victory over McMahon and cemented his position as a main card player.

Rightfully so, Braun took part in several title-related fights but never managed to get the better of Drew McIntyre or Bobby Lashley. Fans are thrilled to see which station ‘The Strowman Express’ heads to next. Although AEW is a top contender for his signature, we may also see him in Impact that has been making contact with the previous releases.
