Countdown host Rachel Riley cradles baby bump as husband Pasha Kovalev showers her with kisses
Rachel Riley cut a very stylish pregnancy look as she and husband Pasha Kovalev hit the town for a night out yesterday.
The Countdown host, who is pregnant with her second child, got all glammed up to attend The Cabaret All Stars Presents: Denise Van Outen cabaret show at Proud Embankment in London on Friday.
Making for one trendy couple, Rachel stunned in a black dress with tassels at the bottom and teamed with a pink coat. The presenter looked radiant as she posed on the red carpet while cradling her baby bump.
Meanwhile, Pasha looked particularly dapper as he modelled a blue and burgundy checked blazer with a red jumper and black jeans.
Love was truly in the air at one point as Pasha was pictured planting a sweet kiss on Rachel’s cheek as they posed on the red carpet. The couple were no doubt thrilled to enjoy a rare date night, leaving their one-year-old daughter Maven sleeping at home.
Rachel announced that she was expecting their second child in April.
Quite fittingly, she shared the news with a clue on the Countdown board. Alongside a photo of her touching her stomach, Rachel tweeted: ‘A special teatime teaser!
‘And your clue is… Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her…
‘And it’ll only get worse till Autumn!
‘Happy, happy days for our little family @pashakovalev and future big sister Mave.’
Rachel, 35, and Pasha, 41, recently celebrated Maven’s first birthday in December and opened up about their experience as new parents.
When asked what it’s like watching Pasha as a father, Rachel told Hello!: ‘It’s been gorgeous.
‘My friends always said when you love someone and you see them with a child… he is just amazing with her. He’s better with her than with me, I’ve got the secret weapon of boobs and he has to actually learn proper parenting.
‘She loves him, he loves her. Even when looking at a picture of her, his face just lights up – it’s gorgeous.’
The couple met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 when he was still a professional dancer on the series and Rachel a contestant.
