Former Miami Heat Star Chris Bosh Reveals Change in Perspective After Kobe Bryant’s Death

Some players leave behind an indelible mark in the hearts of fans, and Kobe Bryant is one of those whom the NBA world reminisces about even today. After the Lakers legend’s unfortunate death last year in a plane crash, things haven’t been the same for everyone in the league.

Over the past year, many have paid tribute to the great Kobe Bryant in their own little ways. Yet, others feel a void after Mamba’s loss, especially his family and friends. The 5-time champion left too early and there are still peers, coaches, and competitors who remember his game.

Chris Bosh aims for extra family time

Chris Bosh is one of those who has been amongst the finest within the era of Kobe Bryant. He was recently elected for the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2021 for his startling career with Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat. In a recent show of ‘Tim and Friends’, Bosh promoted his new book titled, ‘Letters to a Young Athlete’. Additionally, the 11-time NBA All-star shared the impact Kobe’s death has had on him personally.

“To tell you the truth, after Kobe (Bryant) passed it put that much more perspective on what’s important and so I take the extra time with the family, with the kids, talking to kids, encouraging people, just trying to be positive and make each day a masterpiece. You do that just by staying in the present and enjoying the day as it is or trying your best to or working hard,” Bosh shared.

Kobe Bryant will be missed forever

Bosh has had a notable career, having been part of the Heat Big 3 with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. He played on the opposite end of Kobe Bryant but holds massive respect for the man.

It’s been quite difficult for Kobe’s wife and children to get through his shocking death alongside his daughter Gigi. And the NBA lost one of their greatest players who marked his brilliance in the history books of the league.
