“I Got a Lot Left in the Tank” – Mark Henry Confident of AEW In-Ring Return

All Elite Wrestling has truly become a competition to WWE. Over the past year, Tony Khan’s promotion has added some great names to it’s roster. One of the latest names to jump ship is WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry. The ‘World’s Strongest Man’ made his AEW debut at Double or Nothing last week.

Although Henry made his AEW debut at Double or Nothing, he did not interact with the fans at the venue or at home. Why? Because he saved the best for his first appearance on AEW Dynamite!

Tony Schiavone talked about AEW’s upcoming show Rampage, and then introduced it’s analyst, Mark Henry to the ring. The ‘World’s Strongest Man’ didn’t waste time. He immediately revealed why he was in AEW. He made it clear that he wasn’t there to fix anything with the company, but rather to just polish the ones who needed to be.

“Everybody knows how much I love this business. And I’m not here to fix AEW. AEW is not broken. What I’m here to do is turn the screws as we say on Busted Open. So that my friends is what I’m here to do.” said Henry.

Tony Schiavone then asked Mark Henry if they can ever see him in the ring again. Just as Sciavone asked this, the crowd at Daily’s Place cheered in unison.

Henry embraced the crowd and then revealed it isn’t on his mind right now, but he definitely has a lot more matches left in him. He said, “Right now, I’m not gonna say yes. But Tony, I got a lot left in the tank.”

Before we could hear anything more from Mark Henry, Vickie Guerrero interrupted and then followed it up with a shocking debut of Andrade El Idolo! Either way, the brief time Henry got on Dynamite is enough to hype us for his future in-ring career more than his analyst role on Rampage.

It’s no secret Henry has desired to wrestle more, especially now at a time when he’s in the best shape of his life. And there can be no better place for him than AEW. It will be interesting to see how it goes for the creator of the ‘Hall of Pain’ in AEW. After all, this is the first time he’s with another promotion except WWE.
