Mariah Carey has left Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

While reports claimed that the pair parted ways after a ‘blazing row’, Metro.co.uk understands that the departure was ‘amicable’.

The pair are said to be on ‘great terms’ and she is now represented by Range where her former Roc Nation manager is a Managing Partner.

Neither Mariah, 51, nor Jay, also 51, has commented publicly.

In 2017, the We Belong Together singer signed with Roc Nation, which Jay founded in 2008.

Mariah has had a hugely successful year, releasing her memoir last year, and finally landing a UK number one over the festive period with All I Want For Christmas Is You.

However, she has also faced legal action over her memoir, with her sister Alison suing her and accusing her of ‘telling despicable lies’.

Meanwhile, her brother reportedly sued her over the book, after he said she falsely accused him of being a violent person.

Mariah spoke very openly about her life in her book, which was published last year.

The Fantasy hitmaker covered topics including her upbringing, her biracial identity struggle, her marriage to Tommy Mottola and her divorce from Nick Cannon.

Following her memoir’s release, the star said people can simply refer to her book if they have any questions about her.

‘No offence to doing interviews, but what would be the point? I can’t articulate it better than I already have [in the book]. From now on, I’m like, “Please refer to page 29,” you know what I mean?”’ she told The Guardian.
