Rare motorbike ridden by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear sells at auction for £11,000
A PETROLHEAD paid £11,305 yesterday for a covered-in motorbike once ridden by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear.
The Peraves Ecomobile can reach 150mph.

The rider sits with their feet forward inside a fuselage on the Swiss machine.
There is room for a pillion passenger.
There are two small side wheels which are pulled inside the cockpit once it gains speed.
Just 89 were made until 2005, with five thought to be in the UK.
The seller of the bike, which went under the hammer at Rowley’s Fine Art Auctioneers in Ely, Cambs, said: “Wherever it goes it always draws a crowd. Nothing can match its ability to corner at speed.”
