VANDERPUMP Rules star Brittany Cartwright told fans she’s trying to shed her baby weight and is a “work in progress” after giving birth to her son, Cruz, in April.

Brittany, 32, took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to share a short clip of herself sweating it out in the gym as she attempts to shed the pounds.

The TV star wore a grey “Kentucky” t-shirt for the workout and styled her hair back into a slick bun as she hit the treadmill.

Having worked up quite the sweat, Brittany was certainly feeling motivated as she captioned the video: “Come on baby weight (and quarantine weight lol).”

She added a small “work in progress” sticker to the video too, letting fans know they can expect plenty more on her fitness journey.

It comes after the star revealed back in May that she’d been left in tears by cruel comments from online trolls about her pregnancy weight gain.

Brittany and her husband Jax Taylor, 41, recently welcomed their first child,.

The new mom told Us Weekly that the comments had made her feel “ashamed” of her post-baby body when compared to her costars like Lala Kent, Stassi Schroeder and Scheana Shay.

She said: “When I was pregnant, I got so many mean comments about what my weight gain was.

“I was being heavily compared to Stassi and Scheana and Lala. I’ve always been bigger than them, but my weight has always fluctuated and stuff.

“So it was just hard to see all those comments about my weight stuff when I was healthy and the baby was healthy.”

The Bravo star added: “You’re already so emotional. And then I was in quarantine, I was home, so I was looking at my phone more than I should have.

“There were times when it made me ashamed of how I looked, and I shouldn’t have felt like that.”

Sadly, this isn’t the first time the mom of one has had to deal with cruel comments from online trolls.

Back in November, Brittany blasted the body shamers who mocked the size of her baby bump.

The TV personality hit back: “Believe it or not, some women don’t really show at 16 weeks pregnant, while others have pronounced bumps.

“The wide variety of baby bumps can be attributed to everything from a woman’s size and shape to whether this is her first pregnancy or her second, third or fourth.

“Whatever you do, don’t compare your 16 weeks pregnant belly to anyone else’s.”

Brittany revealed to E! News in April that she’d struggled with a difficult pregnancy and birth.

“I was in labor for 26, 27 hours! It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but it was definitely the most beautiful and rewarding thing,” she said.
