The argument for the best driver between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen is for a prolonged time now, who have been the grid’s standout performers over the past year.
Hamilton who has won a joint record of seven Drivers Championship titles (level with Michael Schumacher), and holds the records for the most career wins, most pole positions, most podium finishes, most career points, and most laps led.
Verstappen, on the other hand, has the reputation of being an aggressive driver. He was 17 when he became the youngest driver ever to compete in the sport. He’s seen as one of the biggest talents in this generation of drivers, known for his raw speed and aggressive driving style.
However, in a recent YouTube video, former Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg points out the tactics of Hamilton against Verstappen which proves that Hamilton is one of the best drivers of all time.

What did Nico Rosberg say about Lewis Hamilton?
In a recent video posted by the 2016 world champion, a fan asked about how drivers stay consistent during the race calendar and how do some drivers cannot do that.
“The race calendar you know 20 to 22 races always different tracks, always different circumstances, different grip levels, different car balances, different car fuel, different situations out there. There’s so much changing so that just makes it difficult for you as a driver to get your risk management perfect for every single weekend and that’s where experience just helps so much.” said the former Lewis Hamilton partner.
Furthermore, he adds the risk management of Lewis Hamilton and how he can manage it throughout the season and also compares it with “aggressive” Verstappen.
“So lewis will be able to do that better than anybody else out there, to manage his whole season in terms of risk to try and avoid any big mistakes and we’ve seen that in his battles with Verstappen that he is actually now two times on the start given way to Verstappen when Verstappen was really aggressive and where if lewis would have just held his position there would have been a big collision and maybe even crash.”
“He’s given way because he said risk management I know I have a chance later in the race still and that’s just where his incredible experience comes into play and that makes him such an incredibly tough opponent out there and of course now one of the best or the best of all time.” said the German.
