Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul Could Be Forced to Refund Fans After Crashing

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul clashed in a special exhibition bout last night. The event took place at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, Florida. Mayweather vs. Paul was live-streamed on SHOWTIME PPV for the fans. However, the stream crashed multiple times during the fight.

Both Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul put on a good show and enjoyed their fight. However, it wasn’t the same case for the fans as they were facing technical difficulties while watching ‘TBE’ box the YouTuber.

The well-known boxing platform faced a lot of backlash on social media as plenty of fans tweeted about the issues they faced. After SHOWTIME found out the issue, they first released a statement on Twitter saying that they would resolve the issue in 10 minutes.

However, considering the PPV price, fans were outrageous as they could not enjoy the event. Hence, many fans demanded a refund. The channel’s support account put out a statement to pacify the fans, claiming that they could put in a request for the same.

Did Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul PPV face technical difficulties on other streaming platforms?

The Showtime PPV was only accessible for USA viewers. So there were other live streaming platforms for viewers around the globe.

The event was live-streamed by Sky Sports Box Office in the UK. The event cost about £16.95 for UK viewers. There were no issues on the Sky Sports Box Office PPV for the UK fans.

For viewers around the globe, the event was live-streamed on the Fanmio website. Even on Fanmio, there were no issues for the viewers to get access to the live event. 

Per Twitter, only the USA viewers who purchased the PPV faced technical difficulties. As of now, there is nothing to suggest that the fans faced any issues on other PPV platforms for Mayweather vs. Paul event.
