In the post-match interview, Zverev admitted that even though he is there in the semi-finals now, he is not totally satisfied. He also mentioned that he hopes that he’ll play much better in the semi-finals of the French Open 2021.

“It’s very nice being in the semi-final, but just being here doesn’t satisfy me. I hope I can continue to play the same, maybe even better in the semi-finals,” said Zverev in the interview.

It is just the right start for Zverev and he’ll like to take it forward from here. He has already won the Mutua Madrid Open 2021 and will definitely be a strong opponent to beat for anyone in the semi-finals.

“After the first set, my baseline game improved a lot and I started to dominate the points. At the beginning, I don’t think I played that well. [Davidovich Fokina] has improved a lot over the past 18 months and has climbed up the [FedEx ATP Rankings]. I think I will play him a lot in the future,” added the World No.6 player.

Fans surely have huge expectations from Alexander Zverev and want him to deliver at Roland Garros 2021. Will the German be able to win his maiden Grand Slam title in pairs this year?
