Chris Bosh Reacts to Kevin Durant and Brooklyn Nets’ Crushing Game 2 Win Over Bucks

Brooklyn Nets registered their biggest ever playoff win when they defeated the Bucks by 39 points. It was more like watching a champion side playing a low-ranked side because that was how bad the Nets made the Bucks look. Kevin Durant was in a form that made him completely unguardable for the night.

Playing with James Harden cheering on the courtside, the Nets showed how they can be good even when they’re a star or two down. The night of Game 2  might have been a preview to the way the Nets can make the NBA Finals look one-sided, assuming they make it that far.

Chris Bosh gave his assessment on the Brooklyn Nets’ blowout win

In a recent interview, former NBA Champion Chris Bosh talked about how good Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are as a duo.

The 37-YO retired professional expressed, “He [Durant] was incredible, that many points on that little shooting. That’s about as efficient as you can get… If he and Kyrie are shooting over 50%, KD over 65%, Kyrie over 50, they’re gonna be hard to beat. You’re not gonna win those games. You can’t really slow them down. But you have to do as much as you can to make them take more shots to get to those points. The way they’re shooting right now is too efficient, they’re in the rhythm, they’re doing what they want, they’re getting what they want, and they’re just having their way right now.”

On that night, the Sniper was 12/18 from the field and 4/6 from the long-range. When combined, KD and Ky were 21/35 from the field and that was just too good for the team headed by the reigning DPOY to handle.

The Bucks failed to stop KD

The Milwaukee-based team put PJ Tucker on Kevin Durant but that did no good for their defensive intentions. Just a few minutes into the play, KD drew two fouls on PJ and forced him on the bench. Later, the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday switched on KD but to no avail.

In a crossover sequence that gathered huge praise from LeBron James, KD tricked the Greek Freak and scored a picture-perfect jump shot. It was like watching poetry in motion and there was nothing much that Mike Budenholzer could change.

With KD already averaging 32 in the playoffs, the Bucks are sure to have a hard time.
