“I Don’t Think Valorant Should Do That”-Shroud Shares His Thoughts About Adding Content Creator Skins in the Game

Riot Games has revolutionized the first-person shooter genre last year with Valorant. This game managed to win over the world, which attracted popular streamers like Shroud, Myth, Ninja, and many others. Ever since its release, this title has breathed new life into the genre which was previously dominated by Counter-Strike.

Other titles use community-created content in the market inside the game, which serves as fresh content. Recently, Shroud shared his thoughts about community content and whether it should be added to Valorant.

Shroud does not believe that Riot Games should add content created

The 27-year-old retired professional shared his thoughts about community content in Valorant. Riot Games is famous for keeping things closer to their chest, as the studio believes in adding original content. Community content is not something the studio believes in, as the studio likes to protect its Intellectual Property.

Shroud also believes that the studio should not add community content into the game. A fan quizzed him about community content, and the streamer responded with his honest opinion.

” I don’t Valorant should do that. As much as I would love the skin that’s entering like dangerous territory. You know what I mean, because you can’t the second you add content creator skins, if you plan to only do it for one person, okay that’s fine like one or two people that’s fine but you have to take that stance to the grave. That’s what makes it so challenging like you. If you’re gonna give content creator skins, you give it to a couple of them and you take it to the grave”

Shroud is right about his views regarding content creator skins in Valorant. The studio has previously established that it likes to keep things closer to its chest and does not like to share data.

Keeping that viewpoint insight, it would not make sense to add a community-created content weapon or character skins into the game. The studio keeps its stance consistent and avoids making this move, regardless of the external factors.
