Jeffree Star laughs off ‘hilarious’ Kanye West rumours: ‘I really do like tall men’
Jeffree Star is still highly amused at the strange rumours about him and Kanye West and honestly, we don’t blame him.
In January, the Gold Digger rapper was wrongfully accused of cheating with the YouTube star amid reports that he and wife Kim Kardashian were divorcing.
The rumours were circulated by a TikTok star despite there being no evidence to back up the claims and no reports of Kanye being unfaithful.
Reflecting on the outlandish story, Jeffree told E! News: ‘I think the rumors are funny, they’re hilarious. I think the coincidence is crazy when you live in Hidden Hills, two miles away from him and then I’ve always loved Wyoming and I was obviously aware that they had been going there a lot.’
Jeffree was referring to Kanye, 44, moving from California to the peaceful environment of Wyoming, where he owns a sprawling ranch. Coincidentally, Jeffree, 35, also moved to Wyoming himself last year.
He continued: ‘I really did mean when I say I really do like tall men. I think Kanye‘s music is amazing, but he’s definitely not for me.’
The make-up guru initially fuelled the rumours when he shared a photo of himself on social media with the caption: ‘I’m ready for Sunday Service,’ a nod to Kanye’s gospel gatherings.
He then posted a pretty image of a view in Wyoming and wrote: ‘I love these beautiful #Wyoming winter nights.’
Jeffree first spoke out about the rumours at the time, releasing a YouTube video rubbishing the allegations.
‘I woke up and my phone was blowing up. I scrolled the Internet and I read the dumbest s**t I think I ever read in my whole entire life,’ he recalled.
‘I guess some girl made up a whole lie on TikTok that went viral where she insinuates Kanye and Kim are getting divorced because a “big male beauty influencer” is sleeping with him.’
The influencer continued: ‘I’m single, I’m not sleeping with anyone, this is so weird.
‘Let me just say this one time… I like very tall men. Me and Kanye have never hung out and this whole thing is really funny. So I guess if this is the start to my new year, happy new year.
‘Jeffree Star is single and I’ve never slept with Kanye.’
Kanye and Kim, 40, ended their marriage earlier this year after tying the knot in 2014. They share four children; North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two.
