Nate Diaz is an astute martial artist

Not much is known about Diaz and his early childhood. However, it is reported that he attended Tokay High School along with his brother Nick Diaz. Both brothers were born in Stockton, California, and proudly represent the 209 Pincode.

Diaz got into martial arts accidentally. Initially, he started out by helping his brother train however in that time his love for the sport grew to the point where he decided to go down the same path as his brother. Diaz competed in various other promotions before being signed by the UFC for The Ultimate Fighter season five. The younger Diaz brother went on to win the tournament and earned himself a place on the UFC roster.

Both brothers are astute martial artists and are in shape all year round. Nate Diaz is also a triathlete, often competing in triathlons. Both brothers also run the Nick Diaz academy where they primarily impart their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu knowledge as both men are extremely high-level Jiu-Jitsu practitioners.

Diaz returns to the sport after having lost out on the ‘BMF’ belt to Jorge Masvidal in November 2019. He will be taking on a dangerous opponent in Leon Edwards who is on an eight-fight win streak.
