The trilogy between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury is finally set to take place. Both the fighters have signed on the dotted line to confront each other on July 24. However, there’s no official news pertaining to them fighting on this date.
But, according to Boxing Scene, the official announcement of this third contest will happen on Tuesday at a press conference. This PC will take place in Los Angeles and it’s still unclear whether the fans will be allowed for the same.
Earlier, Fury was all set to take on his compatriot Anthony Joshua for the undisputed heavyweight title. However, Wilder played his cards well and claimed his rematch for the WBC belt. Now, ‘The Gypsy King’ will have to get past Wilder once again to be able to fight for the undisputed belt.
In that fight, the Brit came up with his most destructive game plan to dethrone Wilder. Right from the first bell, he made his intentions clear and didn’t let ‘The Bronze Bomber’ win a single second of that fight.
Moving ahead, Fury finished Wilder in round 7 of the fight to establish his new era at the big men’s division. But ever since that disappointing loss, the only fight Wilder has asked for is a trilogy with his foe. And now he’s finally set to enter the biggest battle of his boxing career.
Deontay Wilder will look to avenge his only career defeat
Over the past few months, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has put himself in deep waters to prepare for his fight against Tyson Fury.
Moving into this contest, he’s extremely ready and highly optimistic about putting on a show. That said, it won’t be so easy for the champ to defeat Wilder once again, because the latter will undoubtedly bring his A-game in this epic encounter.
Considering that, it’ll be intriguing to see how Wilder fares as he aims to avenge his only professional defeat. How do you see the Wilder vs Fury 3 bout playing out?
