Jason Fox has spoken about SAS: Who Dares Wins, saying that he would love to put Danny Dyer through his paces on the celebrity version of the show.

The former Royal Marine described the EastEnders star as his dream guest on the programme – and it’s something we’d absolutely love to see.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins sees famous people put through a two week military training programme that’s designed to replicate the SAS selection.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk about who would be perfect for the show, Jason said: ‘I think somebody who gives it large, but has never really pushed themselves.’

‘I’d love to see Danny Dyer on it.’

The likes of Joey Essex, Katie Price and Tony Bellew have taken part in the series in the past, with former footballer Wayne Bridge, Paralympic athlete Lauren Steadman and DJ Locksmith the only three to have successfully passed the course.

Could Danny be set to star on the show in future? We’d love to see it.

Production on the latest series of the celebrity version of the show is currently underway, but contestants and release dates have yet to be confirmed.

Elsewhere, Jason also spoke about the regular version of SAS: Who Dares Wins and said that he was ‘proud’ that the programme has become a platform for people to open up about their life experiences.

‘That’s the main reason I did it in the first place really, was to open up myself,’ he said. ‘The fact that it’s now a platform for people to talk about their journey with life, whether it’s positive or negative, I think it’s awesome. I love it and it’s probably the one think everyone else loves about the show.’

Jason added: ‘It’s not about us running around beasting people. It’s about getting stuff out of people and them opening up and having the bravery and the courage to talk about whatever it is that they’ve got going on that they need to address.’

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Danny Dyer’s representatives for comment.

SAS: Who Dares Wins continues on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
