Katie Price has announced a revealing new book about her life with her son Harvey detailing the highs and lows of their relationship.

The glamour model is opening up about the challenges of raising Harvey, who was born with a series of genetic conditions and syndromes, and is autistic, partially blind, and has a series of learning and behavioural difficulties.

The revealing book, called Harvey and Me: A Mother’s Love will share never-before-told stories about the 19-year-old’s life as well as unseen photographs, details about his condition and his relationship with his four siblings.

Mirror Books, which has acquired the rights to A Mother’s Love, promised ‘no sugar coating’ in the unflinching look at their life together.

Katie, who shares her eldest son with ex Dwight Yorke, said: ‘Life with Harvey has been a rollercoaster of emotions – from the day I held Harvey in my arms to this day I cannot begin to express the wonders of our incredible journey together.

‘A mother son bond that goes beyond the everyday “normal”. Harvey is a one in 100 million – I am blessed to have him in my life.

‘Sharing our story I hope to bring love, encouragement and support. I want to educate parents and others, with a few good belly laughs, by giving an insight into what my world with Harvey is like behind closed doors. I’ll take you away from showbiz thrills and spills and into my home, into my life as a parent with a child of complex needs and disabilities.

‘Harvey has taught me to be a better person, mother and to fight for what is right, for those especially who have until now not had a voice to be heard.

‘I give you Harvey And Me.’

The 42-year-old reality TV star, who has children Princess, Junior, Bunny and Jett, will give an honest account in the book about how they have dealt with cruel online trolls and her fight for Harvey’s Law, which would make it illegal for people to troll others online.

In January this year, the TV star put Harvey into a facility where he can learn to be more independent after he turned 18.

They also appeared together in a powerful BBC documentary last year about their daily lives with a follow up apparently in the works.
