Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn has left fans convinced she’ll be appearing on Strictly Come Dancing later this year after revealing she’s heading to the UK for a ‘big surprise’.

Earlier this year, Christine, real estate agent and reality TV star, gave birth to her first child with husband Christian Richard.

While fans excitedly wait for season four of Selling Sunset to drop on Netflix imminently, Christine, 32, has teased that she has another exciting project in the works.

In a new tweet, Christine shared an emoji of the Union Jack flag, before stating that she has her ‘passport in hand’.

‘I’m so excited to announce I will be coming to the UK in September for a big surprise!’ she wrote.

I can’t wait to share more soon, but I look forward to finally meeting you guys!’

While Christine didn’t provide any further indication on what exactly this ‘big surprise’ may be, several of her fans speculated that she may have been cast in the upcoming new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

‘Picture the scene. December. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are ready. “The Strictly dancing champions 2021 are…” CHRISTINE AND GORKA HOLD THE GLITTERBALL TROPHY,’ imagining Christine being paired up with Strictly professional dancer Gorka Márquez.

‘Really hoping this is for a stint on @bbcstrictly!’ another said hopefully.

Another person said that while The Masked Singer ‘typically starts filming in September’, Christine would be unlikely to tweet that if she were involved… which is why they think Strictly is more likely.

Although it will be a while before the BBC confirms the line-up for the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing, a change to the cast of the professional dancers has already been announced.

Following the news that Zoe Ball is stepping down as the host of It Takes Two, Strictly’s sister programme, professional dancer Janette Manrara revealed that she would be taking her place.

Speaking on The One Show this week, Janette said: ‘I will not be dancing. I don’t want to well up because I have been welling up a lot today, but that has been the hardest part of accepting this amazing honour to join It Takes Two.

‘It’s the realisation that I will not be on that legendary Strictly dancefloor any more. But I feel that this is most beautiful and natural progression.

‘I am still a part of the Strictly family, I am still going to be seeing my fellow pros all the time and I will keep dancing, as they say. I will find a way to keep dancing.’

Janette will host It Takes Two with Rylan Clark-Neal when Strictly returns later in the year, having finished in the 2020 series as a runner-up with her partner HRVY.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Christine’s representatives for comment.

Seasons one to three of Selling Sunset are available to watch on Netflix and Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One.
