Will Ubisoft do justice with the Avatar franchise?

The original movie was released more than a decade ago, and it went on to become the highest-grossing movie at that time. It managed to garner over $ 2.7 billion on release and furthermore became the fastest grossing movie of all times. It won over the world and managed to create a massive fan base, who had been clamoring for a sequel.

Things didn’t go as the studio intend with the previous iteration of the game back in 2009. The title failed to have the same impact on the gaming industry that movies enjoyed. However, this latest entry might right that wrong, as this title could win the game of the year in 2022.

It does not seem like a sequel is on the books, as the franchise has crossed over to the gaming realm. Ubisoft has fully acknowledged the fan’s demands, and the latest entry seems like a step in the right direction.
