Felix Auger-Aliassime Gets a Big Boost Ahead of Wimbledon Championships 2021, Reaches Finals of ATP Stuttgart 2021

After a poor show in the clay-court season, Felix Auger-Aliassime has finally managed to find his momentum. He recently thrashed Sam Querrey in the semi-finals of the ATP Stuttgart Open 2021 and sealed his spot in the finals. The final scoreline of the match was 6-4, 7-5. The Canadian star will now face either Marin Cilic or Jurji Rodionov in the finals of the tournament.

Reaching the finals of the ATP Stuttgart Open 2021 is a big positive for Felix Auger-Aliassime, especially ahead of the Wimbledon Championships 2021. He recently included Rafael Nadal’s former coach, Toni Nadal, into his coaching staff and Toni will be happy with Felix’s recent performances on grass.

After getting eliminated in the very first round of the French Open 2021, the victory over Querrey will certainly increase the confidence of Felix. He hasn’t won a title on tour this year and thus, it’ll be intriguing to see how he prepares himself ahead of the finals.

Felix Auger-Aliassime was the runner-up at the ATP Stuttgart Open 2019

Felix drew a tough draw at the ATP Stuttgart Open 2019. However, he was able to top his side of the draw by defeating the likes of Milos Raonic in the semi-finals and Dustin Brown- who eliminated Alexander Zverev, in the third round of the tournament.

The Canadian player was just 18-years-old back then but gave some tough competition to Matteo Berrettini in the finals. However, the Italian didn’t lose his calm and won the match in straight sets. The final scoreline of that match was 6-4, 7(13)-6(11). As a result, Felix ended up as the runner-up at the tournament.

This year, the Canadian can turn the tables around if he manages to win the title. If he succeeds in Stuttgart, it’ll be a big boost for him ahead of the Wimbledon Championships 2021.

Fans have huge expectations from the 20-year-old and want him to end on the winning side this year. Will Felix be able to win his first ATP Stuttgart Open title in 2021?
