Alex Rodriguez reunites with ex-wife for gym session as Jennifer Lopez gets closer to Ben Affleck
Alex Rodriguez must be sipping from the same water as Bennifer as he’s now reunited with his ex-wife.
The former MLB player, who split from fiancee Jennifer Lopez in April, spent time with his former wife and the mother of his two children, Cynthia Scurtis, this weekend.
In an Instagram video, Cynthia is seen wrapping an ice pack on Alex’s leg in the middle of their workout session in the gym.
Alex wrote alongside the clip: ‘Cynthia is a world class mommy to our girls… wrapping ice – though?!?!?! Lol.’
Another photo shows the pair alongside Cynthia’s husband Angel Nicolas, proving they’re all one happy blended family.
Alex, 45, and Cynthia, 48, are parents to two daughters, Natasha, 16, and Ella, 13, from their six-year marriage which lasted between 2006 and 2008.
In January, Alex opened up about his co-parenting relationship with Cynthia, and explained on the Raising The Bar podcast: ‘When I want to do things at Christmas with the girls, I may start asking for, not permission, but proactively in July I may be talking about Christmas, versus if I was in a different state of mind, I would drop it December 15 and say, “Hey, Cynthia, can I have the kids?”
‘So it’s been a really, really nice experience for us. I’m very friendly with [Cynthia’s husband] Angel, he’s wonderful with my girls. I think having four good people at the table, well, three good people and me.’
Alex’s engagement with Jennifer, 51, ended in April after spending four years together.
The pair released a joint statement explaining that they were ‘better as friends’ and would continue to work on shared projects together.
Weeks later, Jennifer was seen hanging out with her former fiance Ben Affleck, who she split from in 2004.
The Gigli co-stars have been inseparable since – including spending nights at each other’s houses – sparking rumours that they’re back together 17 years later.
