E3 2021 Xbox Showcase: Updates on Forza Horizon, Outer Worlds 2, and Microsoft Flight Simulator

The announcements keep on coming during Day 2 of E3 2021. The day’s first press conference in the Xbox & Bethesda showcase has already blown people’s minds with revelations of a lot of amazing titles. This includes games like Starfield, Halo Infinite, Battlefield 2042, Sea of Thieves and many more.

Along with that, the event also disclosed some new games arriving soon for Xbox consoles and PC. From a sequel to the high-octane racing franchise of Forza Horizon to flying towards the unknown with Microsoft Flight Simulator, fans will have a lot to play in the upcoming months.

E3 2021 announces Forza Horizon 5 set in Mexico and it will release on November 9, 2021

Fans of the high-flying racing franchise of Forza Horizons have many reasons to smile about as the series is receiving yet another sequel. The latest game will be titled Forza Horizon 5, and it will take racing fans to the mesmerizing country of Mexico. The game will release on November 9, 2o21 on all Xbox consoles and Steam.

The demo featured gameplay with the super fast Mercedes-AMG Project ONE. Along with some pretty slick driving, the footage also involved a lot of the serene environment of the popular North American country. With Ray-Tracing enabled on the game, fans can’t wait to try it out on the Xbox Series X|S when it arrives.

Obsidian announces sequel to the hit 2019 title, The Outer Worlds

Fans were quite disappointed when they didn’t receive any major news regarding Avowed which was announced last year. But developers Obsidian had some other major announcements in store for the players. They revealed a huge content update for Grounded, the popular action-adventure survival game. But they also had one last surprise for the fans which involved an announcement trailer.

The esteemed gaming studio also announced the development of The Outer Worlds 2. They showcased a hilarious trailer that made fun of the lack of any gameplay or design elements. But it also showed other developers the perfect way to reveal a future project. The series’ first title received a lot of critical acclaim, and it seems like fans can expect a solid sequel to it from Obsidian.

Microsoft Flight Simulator finally arrives on Xbox Series X|S

Following the launch of Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC, fans have waited for some information regarding its console version. After almost 10 months, it seems like they have finally received the answer they wanted with the game releasing for Xbox Series X|S on July 27, 2021. Along with that, it was also announced that the title will be part of Xbox Game Pass. Players can pre-install the game now and take their flight to the skies when it arrives.

The Xbox event showcased a strong lineup of games that will arrive on the consoles and Windows PC soon. With action-packed racing and flying adventures, fans can’t wait to play with them when it arrives on Xbox Game Pass. It remains to be seen how they might fare on the consoles. But it looks like this massive Xbox lineup might tempt a lot of players to shift towards the green side.
