HORRIFYING: Referee Stops Fight as Jamahal Hill’s Hand Snaps During UFC 263
UFC light heavyweight Paul Craig shut down the trash talk of Jamahal Hill by pulling out the TKO win at 1:59 of round one. ‘Bearjew’ Craig broke Hill’s arm and began to rain down shots that ultimately led to the end of the contest. The MMA community was up in arms by the end of the fight given the chaotic nature of the finishing sequence.
The overall consensus was that such an occurrence was largely uncommon in MMA given the referee’s involvement. Not to mention, it seemed as though referee Al Guinee didn’t quite know what was going on by the end of the contest. Paul Craig has managed to shut down the trash talk that has been flooded his way and he’ll be looking to move forward in the rankings.

Jamahal Hill had no business messing around with Paul Craig on the mat. He had an opportunity to get up and jumped right back into the guard. And it cost him his arm.

Heading into the contest there were plenty of unanswered questions about Craig as he took on an upstart like Hill. ‘Sweet Dreams’s Hill was undefeated as a pro heading into the fight and had already earned a win over the like of Ovince St-Preux.
Following the win, Craig sent out a chilling message on the mic that left no doubt of his intentions on Fight Night. He acknowledged Hill’s toughness as it was clear that there was an element of referee oversight involved.
“You either tap, nap, or it snaps, and tonight it snapped. One hell of an opponent there in the octagon, took shots after his arm was broke. That’s tough”

Craig is now on a four-fight win streak and his troubles facing elite UFC talent seem to be a thing of the past. The 33-year-old is coming into his own and could be a major player at 205-pounds.
