A brand new UK news channel, led by former BBC political interviewer Andrew Neil, is launching tonight with a team of well-known broadcasters taking the helm including former ITV News host Alastair Stewart and columnist Dan Wooton.

Ex Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher, The Apprentice star Michelle Dewberry, and newsreader Simon McCoy are just some of the other of the long-established faces who will appear.

GB News has been described as the biggest TV channel to launch in the UK since Sky News was first established three decades ago.

Despite many comparisons to Fox News in America, Neil has strongly denied this will be the case as he pledged those who spread ‘fake news’ will face disciplinary action.

It all kicks off tonight (June 13) as Neil introduces the nation to his new project, outlining its aim and line-up with faces familiar and new.

There are many ways to tune in to GB News, which officially gets going in a matter of minutes.
