Xbox Announces Diablo II: Resurrected at its E3 2021 Showcase
The Xbox and Bethesda Showcase at E3 2021 turned out to be a huge success. The event was an absolute blast for fans as they saw trailers and announcements for titles they had long been waiting for. There were many new title releases, and some others got content updates. However, keeping in mind the recent launch of the Xbox Series X|S, many titles also get remasters.
Among all the titles getting a new and improved version, fans are also going to see Diablo II: Reserructed. The action-RPG hack-and-slash title from 2000 is going to get a remaster for the Xbox Series X|S. Moreover, the upgrade is going to utilize all the capabilities that the powerful consoles have to offer.
Diablo 2 remaster releases on September 23 for Xbox Series X|S
Diablo II: Resurrected tries to stick to the core of the original title with significant improvements at the same time. Naturally, the support for controllers is the biggest enhancement that original Diablo players never had a chance to experience. This would significantly change the movement and action in the game as players enjoy the full Xbox controller experience.
As the Series X|S has a lot to offer in terms of frames and resolution, Blizzard did not want to miss out on the opportunity. Therefore, Diablo 2 remastered will run on 4K 60FPS on the new Xbox consoles. This would truly offer an immersive experience to players who play the game for the first time.
According to the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase at E3 2021, Diablo II: Resurrected is going to release on September 23, 2021. However, the title is already available for pre-orders that come with beta access.

Play the Diablo II: Resurrected beta starting August
As Xbox is offering beta access for Diablo 2 remastered with the pre-orders of the game. Therefore, players can grab this offer as soon as possible to experience a part of the game before the full version comes out. The August beta will offer players a chance to test out five out of the seven classes that the game has to offer.
While the original Diablo 2 will always remain a fan favorite, Blizzard has clarified that they are not trying to remake the greatness. Instead, they just want the current generation gamers to experience the ‘Lord of Action RPGs’, that too with cross-progression.
