‘I’ve Been Hearing That Bullsh*t Forever’ – Dana White Responds to Jake Paul’s Fighter Pay Comments

The UFC President Dana White has been accused of not paying his fighters what they deserve. Jake Paul brought this thing up after he claimed that his fight against Tyron Woodley would see ‘The Chosen One’ make his biggest pay-day. Reportedly, Woodley will rake in over a million from the fight.

This is more than his biggest payday that came at UFC 228 when he defended his belt against Darren Till. As per The Sports Daily ‘, The Chosen One’ made a sum of $590,000 ($500,000 for the fight, $50,000 as the Performance of the Night bonus, & $40,000 in incentive pay) at UFC 228.

In the UFC 263 post-fight press conference, Dana White was asked to comment on Tyron Woodley’s claims of getting the biggest paycheck of his career.

White replied, “I’ve been hearing that bulls**t forever. They are all full of sh*t. How many, what’s he making? Exactly. If that’s that much money and he’s so proud of how much it is. How much is it? They are all full of sh*t, but that’s how you hype up a fight too.”

Dana White continued, “How do you sell that fight? Lots of other things other than sh*t to sh*t matter. I am making millions of dollars. And this is the biggest payday ever. And Jake Paul will say mean things about me and pay your fighters and f**king, and you guys just f**king get right into it. It’s all bulls**t.”

Fighters demand increment from UFC President Dana White

Ever since Jake Paul brought up this fighter pay situation, many fighters have demanded an increment to their pay. Former middleweight title challenger Paulo Costa tweeted, “UFC needs to pay me as main fighter to have fighting in main events. Youtubers are showing all disgrace on this business.”

The Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou also joined the conversation. He tweeted, “It’s crazy to think that Logan Paul (0-1) just made $20M on a boxing exhibition. WHAT ARE WE DOING WRONG?”.

According to Dana White, Jake Paul is making up these numbers just to hype his fight against Woodley. He believes both Woodley and Paul are pulling off a publicity stunt just to create a buzz in the combat world and sell their fight.

The UFC President believes that the fighters are well paid and if they think it’s not worth fighting, then they can stop fighting.
