On Monday’s episode of Lorraine, Lorraine Kelly was left baffled by Jada Pinkett Smith and daughter Willow steaming their vaginas on camera.

Jada, her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris and Willow got together to steam their vaginas as part of their often-explosive Red Table Talk series.

Lorraine discussed the episode with LA correspondent Jaymes Vaughan as she slammed the practice.

‘Jada Pinkett Smith has been getting steamy with her daughter and her mum, I’m not sure how I feel about this,’ the Scottish presenter said.

Jaymes responded: ‘The three ladies tried out the benefits of vaginal steaming, which we see pop up every few years with celebrities. Gwyneth Paltrow did it, Chrissy Teigen did it and now they’re doing it.’

While the morning host said the trio – who donned flowing, purple robes –looked like ‘Greek goddesses’, she wasn’t having it.

‘Now Jaymes, I know you’re a stranger to the noonie but they don’t need that, it’s not necessary,’ she said.

Jaymes was a little bit more supportive of vaginal steaming.

‘Listen, if it works for you I always say go for, I say do it,’ he said.

Lorraine couldn’t help but laugh before she added: ‘No thank you! I think it could be very strange and weird.’

During the Red Table Talk episode, Jada, Adrienne and Willow chatted about womb health, as author and wellness coach Queen Afua asked the trio: ‘If your vagina could speak, what would she say?’

Jada said about the practice: ‘They say there’s lots of health benefits, but for me, I just feel like spending time with your vagina in a way that, like, just to just show it appreciation and care.’

While preparing for the event, Adrienne said it was meant to aid in ‘physical, spiritual and emotional cleansing’.

For Jada, she mused of the ‘tingle’ she felt, while singer Willow was picking up a ‘lot of warmth.’

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
