“She Could Beat All the Guys” – Braun Strowman Lauds Raquel Gonzalez Following NXT TakeOver Victory

In the penultimate match of NXT TakeOver: In Your House, Raquel Gonzalez defeated Ember Moon with the help of Dakota Kai. Following the match, former WWE superstar Braun Strowman massively praised her.

During their match, Gonzalez and Moon fought inside the ring while their tag partners Dakota Kai and Ember Moon fought outside the ring. In the end, Gonzalez blocked Moon’s attempt to land an Eclipse.

They tangled and Gonzalez pinned Moon with the Snake Eyes, followed by a big one-arm powerbomb. Kai and Gonzalez celebrated in the ring after the win.

Braun Strowman seemed to follow the match closely. After the match, he sent out two tweets praising Raquel. “She could beat all the guys in NXT also!!!” Strowman said.

A fan then argued the women wrestlers from Asia could beat the likes of American wrestlers like Charlotte Flair and Gonzalez. The fan concluded that Io is the best on the NXT roster.

To this, Strowman said, “If Raquel wanted to she’d could use her as a f**king toothpick!!!!”

Braun was recently released from WWE, merely days after he performed in the main event at WrestleMania Backlash 2021.

Raquel Gonzalez is ready for more challenges

In the backstage interview, Gonzalez addressed Shotzi’s attack on Dakota. Not only did she condemn the haters, but she vowed to bounce back stronger than ever.

“They just don’t know when to give up, do they?” Raquel said. “But you know what? I’ll repeat it to you again, one-by-one, line em’ up. We will take them down.”

“They don’t have to respect me, but they will accept me and I’m your champion Raquel Gonzalez,” she concluded before walking off. No update on Dakota has been released as of yet.

The rivalry between Kai, Gonzalez, and Blackheart, Moon goes long back. The latter duo defeated the former to become the second-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Hence, the rivalry between them is far from over. In the upcoming NXT, fans might see a confrontation between the two teams. Apart from the duo, there are plenty of challengers ready for Raquel.
