Colby Covington Says Jorge Masvidal Is Not His Biggest Rival in the UFC Welterweight Division

The former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington has had some of the biggest rivalries in UFC history. He talks trash about almost everyone he can think of. Covington is rivals with his former opponent Kamaru Usman, his ex-best friend Jorge Masvidal and now Dustin Poirier.

He is one of the most controversial figures in the world of MMA but is still one of the toughest welterweights in the UFC. In a recent podcast with Kacper Rosolowski and Denis Shkuratov, ‘Chaos’ disclosed who he dislikes the most and thinks is his biggest rival till today.

Colby Covington said, “Without a doubt the juice box Marty Juiceman the CEO of EPO.” This came as no surprise as both the guys despise each other and have one of the biggest rivalries in welterweight history.

The start of a rivalry between Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman

The rivalry started after Kamaru Usman became the welterweight champion by defeating Tyron Woodley at UFC 235. At this time, ‘Chaos’ had already become the interim champion, but never fought for the undisputed title. Later, after Covington’s win over Robbie Lawler, he met the new welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, in a post-fight show.

Both the fighters engaged in an altercation by exchanging some trash talk. Later, the duo met in a bad blood match where Kamaru Usman defeated his opponent in the closing minute of the last round. Since then, ‘Chaos’ has kept the rivalry alive with his trash talk and has been demanding a rematch to avenge his loss.

UFC President Dana White has made it clear that Covington is next in line for the title shot. The rematch is upon us after waiting for a long time; yet, the fight has not been finalized so far.
