Once a rival, Malik Scott is now training Deontay Wilder to have one final run against Tyson Fury on July 24. After a harsh split-up with Mark Breland, Wilder didn’t have any coach for a long time. However, he has joined hands with one of his former boxing rivals and looks pretty confident about the ongoing developments.

Meanwhile, Malik Scott has revealed the reasons that bind him well with ‘The Bronze Bomber’. The trainer became Wilder’s spoke person in the press conference and the Alabaman native chose silence. He said, “I believe someone like myself that is extremely technically sound from my own background of boxing. It just matches well. But the thing with us is that the chemistry. I believe there’s great fighters in the world right?”

“That have great teachers but then I believe there’s good fighters in the world that have chemistry with a good or okay teacher and the mix-up works for them. So, our chemistry is firing on all cylinders on both sides.”

Wilder and Scott have posted several training clips on social media. Starting from 2 AM training sessions, to dance breaks in between, they have channelized potential energy with those clips. Although Tyson Fury wouldn’t be an easy opponent to crack, the positivity from Deontay Wilder’s camp cite a few chances to them.
