Deontay Wilder Talks About his Preparation for Tyson Fury Trilogy

On July 24, Deontay Wilder will step inside the ring to take up his biggest boxing test to date. He will enter a giant showdown against his arch-nemesis, Tyson Fury, to reclaim his long-lost heavyweight title. Simultaneously, he will re-establish himself as the king of the division.

In a recent interaction with ES News, the former heavyweight champ shed some light on his preparations for this trilogy.

He said, “Yeah man, we’ve been working hard. You know what I mean? It’s just a lot of things that a lot of attributes that I’ve already had, you what I mean, in the bag,”

Wilder lost to Tyson Fury in February 2020. This was his first and the most dreadful loss in his extensive boxing career. Prior to that, Wilder had a stellar run in the game and he placed himself as one of the most terrifying fighting prospects.

But the Brit gave a major blow to the Alabama native and consequently dethroned him from his spot. Ever since then, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has asked for only one bout, that is, a trilogy with ‘The Gypsy King’. And for that, he’s immersed himself in some rigorous training sessions.

Wilder doesn’t wish to leave any stones unturned for his third encounter with Fury. And accordingly, he’s taking himself into deep waters every day to give his best hit in the fight.
