Huge Windows 11 update revealed – and it makes your PC look like an Apple Mac

MICROSOFT’S new Windows 11 operating system has reportedly leaked online before the company even had a chance to announce it.

Its new style has been compared to macOS due to most of the desktop icons appearing directly in the middle of the taskbar.

According to Tech Radar, you can’t download Windows 11 just yet but videos are said to have appeared online showing the new software.

For fans of a more original Windows style, it is possible to go into the settings and move the taskbar buttons to the left.

That should make things look slightly more like Windows 10.

Microsoft still hasn’t officially confirmed Windows 11.

However, an hour after the leak was first spotted one, the Microsoft Windows Twitter account tweeted about its event later this month.

It rather cryptically said: “This is just the Start. Tune in on June 24th at 11am ET to see what’s next.”

That’s 4pm BST for any keen Microsoft fans in the UK.

We have reached out to Microsoft for comment on whether or not the ‘leaked’ software is official.

A lot of the software elements are the same as Windows 10 but that could be because Microsoft is still developing them.

Overall the interface has been widely praised for its sleek design.

As with all leaks, we’ll have to wait for official word from Microsoft before we know whether Windows 11 is actually heading our way anytime soon.
