Loki episode 2: What else has Sophia Di Martino starred in as Lady Loki wreaks havoc in Marvel series?
Warning: spoilers ahead for episode 2 of Loki.
With talks of the multiverse, Nexus events and variants, Loki has definitely not been short of mind-boggling conundrums since the launch of the Marvel series on Disney Plus.
By the end of episode two, fans were left in a state of immense confusion and excitement, as Lady Loki (Sophia Di Martino) was seemingly introduced after months of speculation.
Although it has been known for quite some time that Friday Night Dinner star Sophia would be appearing in the MCU show, her role has not yet been formally named.
At the end of episode one, Mobius M Mobius (Owen Wilson), an agent from the TVA (Time Variance Authority) who’s taken Loki under his wing, informed the God of Mischief that the TVA were chasing after another Loki variant who was hunting the organisation’s Minutemen.
She was finally unmasked in the final moments of the second instalment – although there are some who believe she isn’t a Loki variant at all, and is instead the live-action depiction of Sylvie, otherwise known as Enchantress in the Marvel comics.
While Sophia is listed as playing Lady Loki on the Wikipedia page for the TV series, on IMDb she is simply characterised as ‘The Variant’.
In the credits for the various voice-dubbing casts, Sophia is also referred to as ‘The Variant’, other than in one, where she is credited as ‘Sylvie’.
Amid the rumours and anticipation for Sophia’s next appearance in the time-bending adventure, what else has the actor starred in?
