Deontay Wilder appears ready to get ugly inside the ring with Tyson Fury, in a scrap that can bring him back the WBC title on July 24. However, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has shown a few changes in his personality at the recent press conference. Fury and Wilder met each other for the first time in person since their last meeting in February 2020.
While Wilder introduced himself and claimed that he would come for blood in the trilogy, he also chose Malik Scott to interact with the media. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ just remained there, seated with his headphones on. Although he didn’t seem to lack confidence, there can be a few things that can justify Deontay Wilder’s silence.

Wilder made several controversial remarks after suffering the maiden loss of his career. He blamed his walkout costume for damaging the legs. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ also accused Mark Breland of being a double-agent with his rival’s team. Subsequently, he accused Tyson Fury of cheating in their fight.
The fans did not receive these statements well and criticized Wilder. Considering the reaction, it may have been a smart move for Wilder to remain silent.
