Russell Crowe makes secret £5,455 donation to Ross Noble’s cause for Celebrity Apprentice

Ross Noble has revealed who it was that secretly donated $10,000 (£5,455) to his chosen charity during the finale of Celebrity Apprentice Australia, and it was none other than Russell Crowe.
In the final episode, Ross and interior designer Shaynna Blaze were given the task of planning and hosting a VIP charity event in only two days.
The person who raised the most money for charity would be crowned the winner.
Ross organised a unique event, which was an experience of robbing a bank, complete with explosives, electrified staircases and a ‘mob boss’ for the contestants to contend with.
Despite his impressive attempts, he was runner-up on the show, as Shaynna raised almost half a million dollars for domestic violence charity Voice of Change.
He still managed to raise $83,500 (£59,167) for his charity and wanted to give a shout out to his friend Russell for the large donation.
Unfortunately, it was edited out of the programme.
The comedian shared the news with Australian radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa on their morning programme.
‘You were talking about Russell Crowe before there – $10,000 of that money came from Russell, the Rabbitohs, the money came from him!’ he revealed.
‘I thanked him on the show, but sadly it didn’t make the cut. He’s an incredibly generous man who doesn’t necessarily shout about it.’
Ross revealed that he and the Academy Award first met on The One Show back in 2017.
‘He helped me out a treat and he didn’t get the recognition he deserves so I’m doing it now,’ Ross added.
During the board meeting with Lord Sugar in the show’s final episode, Ross became upset, stating that he was afraid of failing the Australian Red Cross, if he didn’t sell enough tickets.
‘It’s very personal to me, as my wife and I, we lost our house in a bushfire and the Red Cross actually supported us. Now I want to support them,’ he said, referring to the 2009 Black Saturday fires.
