Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer spotted filming Killing Eve season 4 in London
Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer have been spotted as filming begins on Killing Eve season four.
The pair were snapped outside Standard Hotel and St Pancras in London on Tuesday night as production on the series got underway.
Sandra, who plays title character Eve Polastri, kept a low profile as the left the hotel wearing a white face mask and sunglasses.
The hotel has been the location of many shoots before and was the setting for the Spice Girls’ Wannabe music video.
It was recently confirmed that Killing Eve is set to come to an end with its fourth season, with Sandra and Jodie stepping into their roles for the last time.
It comes after show bosses assured fans that Killing Eve would indeed be going into production as planned and without delay.
Considering the number of film and TV productions that have been put on hold as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, there were concerns production on the fourth series would not run on schedule.
However, the programme’s producers have assured that there is currently no need to delay.
In a statement sent to Metro.co.uk, they said: ‘Killing Eve has not been postponed, but is scheduled to film in Summer 2021 as planned.’
The new season will premiere in 2022 on BBC America, having started back in 2018.
The third season of Killing Eve was released in 2020, leaving fans on tenterhooks as they wondered when and how the lead characters would cross paths in the future again.
It might not be the end of the wider Killing Eve universe just yet though.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC Networks is working closely with Sid Gentle Films, the producers of the series, to explore several spin-off ideas.
Earlier this year, Jodie was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her performance in the series.
Killing Eve season four is set to air in 2022.
