Stranger Things season 4: New pictures show gang stocking up on guns as they prepare for war
It looks like war is about to break out in Stranger Things season 4 as the cast has been spotted preparing for battle in new pictures from the set.
Just hours after photos showed a mannequin version of Milly Bobby Brown’s Eleven being wheeled out on a stretcher, more snaps appear to reveal the gang stocking up on ammunition.
One shot gave fans a glimpse of new Hawkins shop War Zone, which proudly claims to be the largest stockist of firearms in the town.
Cast members were seen loading up their trucks with boxes of supplies, while others brandished guns.
Meanwhile, Maya Hawke’s Robin stood masked up close to a barbed wire fence and Sadie Sink’s Max stood in front of the War Zone shop window in-between takes.
Could this spell the beginning of the end of Hawkins? Only time will tell.
Although Stranger Things bosses have yet to confirm a release date for the new series, Finn Wolfhard shared with a fan that the show ‘should be out some time next year, hopefully‘.
It was recently announced that there are some newcomers to the franchise, with four new stars joining the chaos.
Amybeth McNulty, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen and Grace Van Dien will be introduced in upcoming episodes and will join the likes of returning cast members Winona Ryder, David Harbour and Wolfhard on the Netflix hit.
It’s been teased that Amybeth will play Vicky, a fast-talking cool girl who catches the eye of one of the heroes of the show, while Myles will take on the role Patrick, who is a Hawkins basketball star.
Meanwhile, Regina is joining the school as teacher Ms Kelly, while Grace has been cast in the role of Chrissy, who is the lead cheerleader and most popular girl at Hawkins High with a dark secret.
So far, there have been two separate teasers for Stranger Things season four, one confirming the return of David Harbour’s Sheriff Hopper, while the most recent glimpse suggested we’ll be seeing Dr Martin Brenner once again.
As it stands, many of the plot details currently remain under wraps, although Netflix revealed that Hopper is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will ‘face dangers both human…and other’.
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.
