Ticket Prices for Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder – III Boxing Fight Revealed

Many boxing analysts believe that the Deontay Wilder- Tyson Fury match-up has resuscitated the heavyweight division of boxing. Following an exciting first match, the duo broke the heavyweight boxing gate record in 2020. The rematch for the WBC heavyweight title sold around $16.9 million in ticket sales as 15,816 boxing fans cheered on in a sold-out MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Now, as the heavyweights are set to clash for the third time in July, ticket sales have been opened. Tickets for Fury-Wilder III range between $450 to $8,000.

Tickets, which will be mobile delivered only, can now be purchased on axs.com. The arena can host up to 20,000 fans and the big fight can surely fill it out quickly.

The gate played a big factor in Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder III

Fan attendance and, hence, the gate have been a big financial factor in the booking of Fury-Wilder III at this particular time. Fury’s UK-based promoter Frank Warren had told the Daily Mail back in September 2020 that the trilogy fight would only take place if money from the gate was on the table.

He said, “Wilder and Fury was the highest grossing fight to ever take place in Vegas. We just can’t lose that gate. It’s a huge amount of money. We need the gate.”

Given their illustrious careers, both of the fighters are important players in the heavyweight division. The press conference and its highlights have easily crossed more than a million in viewership across YouTube. The trilogy fight, which seemed like a booking made of the blue for many, has set the boxing world buzzing.

Fury was initially slated to face Anthony Joshua on August 14 in Saudi Arabia. However, per the court’s ruling, ‘The Gypsy King’ is contractually bound to face ‘The Bronze Bomber’ in a rematch before September 15, 2021. Hence, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum moved quickly to book Fury-Wilder III. “It’s better to get rid of him and go about our business. We can make the Fury-Joshua fight for November or December,” he said.

With the second fight breaking records, one would not be off by thinking that the third installment would deliver any less. After all, it’s the clash of the titans of boxing!
