Can Tyron Woodley shed away his recent poor form with a win?

Woodley (17-9) is heading into his fight against Paul in a torrid run of form. The Missouri graduate has 4 match losing streak on his back. His poor run of form started with a title loss against Kamaru Usman via unanimous decision loss at UFC 235.

The loss broke his 7 match undefeated streak. His next opponent was Usman’s former training partner Gilbert Burns, the latter defeated the former via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 9.

‘The Chosen One’ then fought against ‘Chaos’ Colby Covington at UFC Fight Night 178. He lost the battle via TKO in round 5 after incurring a rib injury.

His last fight in the promotion came against Vicente Luque at UFC 260. The match lasted just 3 minutes and 56 seconds as Luque made Woodley tap out via brabo choke.

Woodley certainly won’t be so happy looking back at his recent records. But he has tonnes of experience fighting at the highest level. A change in sports might change his fortunes too.

What did you make of Bisping’s hilarious request to Woodley?
