‘It Will Be the Biggest Pay-Per-View’- Tyron Woodley Claims Dana White Is Protecting His Brand

August 28 will mark the debut of ‘The Chosen One’ Tyron Woodley inside the boxing ring. Woodley will face the YouTube star-turned boxer Jake Paul for eight three-minute rounds. According to Woodley’s manager, ‘The Chosen One’ will grab the biggest payday of his career after the fight is contested.

It is estimated to be somewhere between a million to a multi-million dollar deal. Many people including UFC President Dana White have dismissed these claims. According to Dana White, Woodley and Jake Paul are making up these numbers just to hype the fight.

In a roadside interview with FightHype.com, Tyron Woodley replied to the comments made by White. He said, “Blessings and thank you, Dana. I got I made millions off the UFC and they made millions off me it’s been a mutual situation and everybody want me to bash UFC. I don’t bash him. They gave me a chance to prove I was the best in the world. I did it five times. I fought in my career I fought seven world title fights and I won five.”

‘The Chosen One’ continued, “So I had some bad days, but I had way more good days. So I have no negative thing. Dana White’s doing what he wants to do that’s protecting his brand. It looks as if this pay-per-view is gonna contest with a couple of pay-per-views of UFC. It will be the biggest pay-per-view of the year it will. Mark my words, it will be the biggest pay-per-view of the entire year, me and Jake Paul.”

Dana White doesn’t believe Tyron Woodley

Dana White believes Tyron Woodley is a fighter who passed his prime while he was competing in the UFC. As Woodley hasn’t won a fight since 2019, the UFC President believes he needs to resort to different techniques such as hyping his expected pay for the fight. At the UFC 263 post-event press conference, White labeled it as “bulls**t”.
