“Canelo Is a Hell of a Fighter” – Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. Lauds Canelo Alvarez After His Last Fight in Boxing

Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. put the retro and the modern era boxing fans in a frenzy with his performance against Hector Camacho Jr. Although this was an exhibition bout, it stayed true to the immense hype and attention created around it.

The Mexican boxing legend seemed happy with his overall performance in this clash, and astonishingly, he unveiled some words of wisdom for the P4P boxing king, Canelo Alvarez. Saul, who was ringside, cornered the legend for the final round of his bout.

Post the fight, a cheerful Chavez Sr. said, “He’s the best Mexican boxer right now. And maybe the best in history. He’s shown discipline in his career, Canelo is a hell of a fighter.”

With his current boxing run, it’s safe to say that Alvarez is the best Mexican boxer of all time. However, he still has a lot left in the tank, and will aim to become the world’s best boxer of all time.
