Chrissy Teigen spent quality time with her husband John Legend and their children this weekend to mark Father’s Day, after being at the centre of a bullying scandal.

The former Sports Illustrated model shared a sweet photo of John, 42, with their two children; Luna, five, and Miles, three on Sunday for Father’s Day.

In the image, Luna is seen adorably cradling John’s face while Miles beams at the camera with Chrissy no doubt behind it.

‘There are no words. Only tears that I am fresh out of. To our everything, we love you forever,’ Chrissy wrote in the caption.

John was touched by the heartfelt post and commented a string of heart emoji.

Last week, Chrissy, 35, revealed how John had been her rock during the trolling controversy which emerged after she was accused of sending socialite Courtney Stodden nasty messages on Twitter.

She wrote in an Instagram post of her new tattoo: ‘To the people that never let up with the texts, to my diamond painters, the ones who wanted to give me space, the girls who wiped the snot, and my f*****g rock of a husband, my god I love you.’

Last month, Courtney – who recently came out as non-binary – came forward to reveal that Chrissy had trolled them with horrible messages when they were 16 years old.

Chrissy issued two public apologies for her past behaviour but the controversy then snowballed when fashion designer Michael Costello also accused her of bullying.

He’d met Chrissy years ago and claimed she tried to sabotage his career believing he’d made a racist slur.

However, the former Lip Sync Battle host denied this with reps releasing a statement on her behalf stating the private messages she allegedly sent did not come from her.

John then defended his wife and tweeted: ‘Chrissy apologized for her public tweets, but after her apology, Mr Costello fabricated a DM exchange between them. This exchange was made up, completely fake, never happened.’

He continued: ‘Honestly I don’t know why anyone would fake DMs to insert themselves in this narrative, but that’s what happened.

‘I encourage everyone who breathlessly spread this lie to keep that same energy when they correct the record.’

However, reps for Costello have insisted the messages were not edited, with a spokesperson for designer sharing a new screenshot of a public message posted by Chrissy at the time.
