Deontay Wilder Accepts Responsibility for Tyson Fury Loss: “I Can’t Blame No One Else”

Deontay Wilder is one of the predominant faces of the heavyweight division. Over the course of his prolonged boxing stint, Wilder hammered countless opponents to the pulp to solidify his spot at the peak. But in February 2020, Tyson Fury derailed Wilder’s boxing stint by giving him his first career loss. This was the most dreadful fight for ‘The Bronze Bomber’ wherein he didn’t win a single second.

Putting some light on the same, Wilder spoke to ESPN. “I mean all of it. All of that I mean, I can’t blame no one else. I can tell you the facts. And when I display the facts, it’s up to each individual to accept what I’ve told them. I have no reason to lie about nothing I said.”

“But at the end of the day, it happened to me so I take full ownership of it. And this is what we live to see another day. And this is why we’re here, July 24th, it’s my turn.” he said.

Wilder and Fury took up the ring space against each other twice. The first contest between the pair took place in 2018, and both the fighters pulled off a thriller to keep the fans on their toes. However, this encounter ended in a tragic draw, resulting in both the pugilists facing each other once again.

Consequently, the world saw what happened in their rematch and since then, the only fight that has lured Wilder is a trilogy with the Brit. With that, the duo is set to lock horns with each other on July 24th.

Can Deontay Wilder turn the tables in his favor this time?

Ever since this trilogy got announced, the ex-WBC heavyweight champ put himself through some stringent workout routines.

He still is continuing with his momentum and is leaving no stones unturned in his preparations. Furthermore, Wilder will undoubtedly come prepared in this trilogy and he will look to explore multiple ways to win this encounter.

That said, it’ll be exciting to see if ‘The Bronze Bomber’ actually regains his belt at the T-Mobile Arena.
