Tyson Fury Says ‘Notified Loser’ Malik Scott Won’t Be Helpful for Deontay Wilder
Tyson Fury doesn’t see Malik Scott as a stellar addition to his rival Deontay Wilder’s corner. Although Wilder has claimed to have found his lost fire since joining hands with Scott, Fury doesn’t seem to buy the comments. He has ridiculed both the American boxers, thereby vowing to beat Wilder even quicker than he did in their rematch on July 24.
That said, Tyson Fury and Malik Scott had a verbal banter in the first official press conference of Fury vs Wilder 3. While the Briton demeaned Malik Scott’s boxing achievements, he has expressed a similar viewpoint in his latest interaction with ESPN.
Tyson Fury said, “I think he (Malik Scott) gets him (Deontay Wilder) run over even quicker. Malik Scott is a notified loser and Deontay Wilder is a loser too. So, you got a loser training a loser, doesn’t make for a good recipe to be fair. Actually, they are both excuse-makers when I think about it.”

“I remember I had Malik Scott in a training camp in Holland and he lasted one day. He started making excuses. So you got two excuse-makers training each other. What can I say?”
Meanwhile, Malik Scott has appeared optimistic about turning Deontay Wilder into a 2x world heavyweight champion. Once an opponent, Scott has assisted Deontay Wilder since the former champion’s exit from Mark Breland’s camp. Even though the boxing world can consider Wilder as the underdog against Fury, Scott appears to have his full faith in ‘The Bronze Bomber’.
