Emma Willis shares emotional tribute to daughter Isabelle as she shares glimpse of 12th birthday celebrations with Friends-themed cake
Emma Willis shared a special birthday message for her daughter Isabelle on her 12th birthday as they celebrated at home.
The Big Brother presenter and husband Matt Willis had decked out their home with decorations and balloons for Isabelle’s special day.
Mum-of-three Emma praised her eldest daughter for making her parents ‘proud every single day’ in a tribute she shared on Instagram alongside a picture of the pair hugging – revealing the cool nickname they have for her.
‘Happy birthday to our gorgeous first born. 12 years old today, how on earth…! From the moment she arrived she has captivated us, entertained us but more than anything, she has made us proud every single day.
‘We love you so much Wizz, you brilliantly funny, kind, little lady. I’ll hold onto her like this for as long as she’ll let me ❤️ Stay brave my baby…’
Lucky Isabelle was treated to a fun birthday cake based on the sitcom Friends that had an edible turkey wearing sunglasses and a fez, just like Courteney Cox’s character Monica did on the show, perched on top of the famous Central Perk sofa with classic quotes from the series dotted around it.
The base of the cake read ‘The One Where Wizz Turns 12’ copying the style of the titles of all Friends episodes.
In another post on her Instagram Story she added a picture of Matt sitting down playing with their three kids Isabelle, Ace and Trixie, captioning it ‘My favourite view’.
Although they never show their faces on social media Emma and Matt’s kids have become popular on Instagram with their followers.
The TV star’s message for Children’s Mental Health Week, together with pictures of her children’s individual sense of style including son Ace rocking pink hair, was highly praised by fans.
People have also hailed the host of The Circle for ‘breaking gender stereotypes’ with snaps of Ace wearing his hair long, and for revealing how she lets her children express themselves.
She told Good Morning Britain of the snap: ‘It’s just my son in a pink top. And for me that’s kind of normality.
‘He loves colour, he’s always had long hair and he’s a very free and open-minded boy who doesn’t really…he’s like, “Why do I have to dress in green and blue and grey if I like pink and red and purple – why isn’t that OK?”
‘He’s kind of always been that way. We, I think, are trying to raise him as a very open-minded and inclusive individual.’
