Kelly Osbourne’s dog held a ‘lit cigarette in its mouth and drank whisky’ at a party
Kelly Osbourne’s dog reportedly drank whisky and tried to eat a lit cigarette when she took it to a wild rock ‘n’ roll party with late singer Amy Winehouse and her best friend Tyler James in attendance.
The 36-year-old podcaster, who is now sober, and her pals reportedly found it hilarious when her canine companion proved to be as much of a party animal as them at the showbiz bash.
Tyler James made the claims in his controversial new book My Amy, which chronicles his life with his late best pal Winehouse.
The 39-year-old, real name Kenneth Gordon, recalled: ‘We had this little doggy running around.
‘We were all sitting round the dining table. I had a JD and the dog jumped on to the table and started lapping it up, out of my glass.
‘Without a word of a lie, the dog took a lit fag out of the ashtray and started running around the flat, the fag in its mouth.’
Tyler went on to write that Kelly was ‘p***ing herself’ among the general chaos.
He also linked the incident to her Black Sabbath father Ozzy Osbourne’s debauched past, saying: ‘We were all shouting, “F***, you can tell that dog’s an Osbourne”.’
Tyler’s tell-all book is said to have ‘disappointed’ Winehouse’s family and ‘left a bad taste in the mouth’ after they revealed he had not consulted them on the project and that they ‘disputed many of his claims’.
Meanwhile, Kelly recently revealed she’d relapsed in her sobriety amid the coronavirus pandemic.
She explained on her podcast how it started with a single glass of champagne by the pool, and then progressed to two drinks on another occasion and was still ‘fine’.
The rock star offspring then revealed: ‘And then it started off just going from one drink here, one drink there to literally three bottles of champagne and 24 White Claws a day.’
The former Fashion Police star vowed to be honest about her journey to sobriety with her fans.
She shared with her Instagram followers in April: ‘This is a little hard for me to talk about but I’ve always promised you I will be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on on my road to recovery.
‘I relapsed, not proud of it but I’m back on track and I will be doing a podcast this week where I tell everybody about what’s going on and what happened.
‘I just want to let you know that I am sober today and hopefully I’ll be sober tomorrow. And it truly is just one day at a time.’
